Cecile Pro is operated by Seekefy (Pty) Ltd, a company registered in the Republic of South Africa. References to "we", "us", or "our" in these Terms refer to Seekefy (Pty) Ltd. References to "you" or "the user" refer to any person who accesses or uses the Cecile Pro platform at pro.askcecile.com.

By registering an account, accessing the platform, or using any feature of Cecile Pro, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Use and our Privacy Policy.
If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use Cecile Pro.
You must be at least 18 years of age to use Cecile Pro. By using the platform you warrant that you are 18 or older.
Cecile Pro provides:
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any feature of the service at any time, with reasonable notice where possible.
We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The platform may be unavailable during maintenance or due to circumstances outside our control.
You must register with a valid email address and create a password. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for all activity that occurs under your account.
You agree to provide accurate information when registering and to update your information if it changes. We may suspend accounts where we have reason to believe registration information is false or misleading.
Each account is for a single individual. Sharing account credentials or using a single account across multiple users is not permitted and may result in immediate termination of the account.
Cecile Pro is offered at $22 USD per month (or the rand equivalent at the prevailing exchange rate) after the free tier is exhausted. Pricing is subject to change with 30 days' notice to subscribers.
Payments are processed by PayFast, a payment service provider authorised in South Africa. By subscribing, you authorise PayFast to charge your chosen payment method on a recurring monthly basis until you cancel.
Your subscription renews automatically each month on the billing date. You will receive a payment confirmation by email after each successful charge.
You may cancel your subscription at any time by contacting us at support@seekefy.com. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. We do not provide pro-rata refunds for partial months, except where required by applicable law.
If a payment fails, access to Pro features will be suspended until the account is settled. We will notify you by email.
Subject to the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008, subscription fees are non-refundable once a billing period has commenced. If you believe a charge was made in error, please contact us within 30 days at support@seekefy.com.
New users receive 3 free research queries on registration, with no payment required. Free-tier users have access to the research feature only; drafting, case upload, and WhatsApp access are available to Pro subscribers.
We reserve the right to modify the free tier allowance at any time.
You agree not to use Cecile Pro to:
Violation of this clause may result in immediate account termination without refund.
The Cecile Pro platform, including its design, code, prompts, and workflow, is the intellectual property of Seekefy (Pty) Ltd. You may not copy, reverse-engineer, or replicate any part of the platform without our prior written consent.
Research outputs generated in response to your queries belong to you. You take full responsibility for reviewing, verifying, and using those outputs appropriately. We grant you a non-exclusive licence to use outputs for your professional and personal purposes.
When you upload a document, you warrant that you have the right to share it. You retain ownership of your documents. We process uploaded documents solely to provide the service and do not retain them beyond the session unless required for support purposes.
The platform is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

To the fullest extent permitted by South African law, Seekefy (Pty) Ltd shall not be liable for:
Our total liability to you for any claim arising out of or related to these Terms shall not exceed the total amount paid by you to us in the three months immediately preceding the claim.
We may suspend or terminate your account at any time if you breach these Terms, if we reasonably suspect fraud or abuse, or if we discontinue the service. We will endeavour to provide reasonable notice where possible.
You may terminate your account at any time by contacting support@seekefy.com. Termination does not entitle you to a refund of any prepaid subscription fees.
Upon termination, your right to access the platform ceases immediately. We may delete your account data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any dispute arising from or related to these Terms shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the South African courts.
Before commencing legal proceedings, we ask that you first contact us at support@seekefy.com to attempt resolution in good faith.
You may also have recourse to the National Consumer Commission under the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008.
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email or by a prominent notice on the platform at least 14 days before the changes take effect.
Continued use of the platform after the effective date of updated Terms constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
